    The Rebuild Texas Fund supports Connect Outreach as the organizations repairs and rebuilds homes, including providing mucking and gutting services. Connect Outreach will use these funds to purchase reconstruction materials, tools, food for volunteers, and staff costs to manage volunteers, worksite safety, skilled labor, and supply-chain management. Connect Outreach will also use funding to support a pilot collaboration with Battle Cry Ministries to repair and rebuild 10 homes in Montgomery county.

The goal of the program is to help businesses rebuild after Hurricane Harvey, improve the overall appearance of the business and the community, and make properties more attractive for quality businesses that will improve the overall vitality of Refugio County.

    Project Description
    Following Hurricane Harvey, many students in Vidor Independent School District (ISD) have been displaced because of flooding. This funding will provide 22 portable classroom buildings, two office buildings, one cafeteria, and restroom facilities. The temporary campus will support 640 elementary students and 77 staff members.
