Rebuilding homes in Dickinson with Eight Days of Hope

Over the course of 14 days, Eight Days of Hope organized a massive effort to rebuild over 700 homes in Dickinson, TX. Over 4,500 volunteers from 47 states descended upon the area to provide their time and resources to those in need.

Homeowners from the devastated region talk about how meaningful this effort has been to them. Their houses were destroyed, but the volunteers working with Eight Days of Hope showed up in a big way. While cement was laid, walls reconstructed, and roofs rebuilt, the hope that the organization brought to the region was desperately needed. Within that 14-day period, they rebuilt houses and gave families back their homes.
